Tata Power and S N Power Norway has bagged the contract to set up the 236 MW hydro power project across Chenab
(Chandrabanga). It has been awarded the contract from Directorate of Energy, Government of Himachal Pradesh. The dam height
will be 93 meters and the powerhouse will be constructed underground. It will be built across the last cascade of the river. The
project cost is estimated at Rs. 23,000 million.
