Sai Spurthi Power to set up 10.25 hydro electric project in village Chunchi Doddi in Kanakapura Taluka in Bangalor Rural district of Karnataka. The project involves setting up of a run-of-the river hydroelectric scheme proposed on the right bank the Arkavati river. The project design comprises a diversion structure, power canal, penstock, powerhouse, switch yard, tail race and tail race canal. Project powerhouse comprises 3 generating units, two identical units having 4.5 MW capacity and third having 1.25 MW capacity. The project had been completed in 2006
