Jammu and Kashmir Energy Development Agency (JAKEDA) is planning to set up six Mini Hydel Power Projects of 9.5 MW capacity through Independent Power Producers (IPP) mode under Phase-II in the state.
The process for allotting the works of these Hydel power projects has been started through competitive bidding. The required letters have been issued to the respective bidders by the authorities of JAKEDA.
It may be noted, JAKEDA has earlier allotted six projects having 9.95 MW Cumulative capacities under Phase-I among IPP to develop these projects in different areas of the State.
