Dodson Lindbolm Hydro Power Pvt Ltd plans 34 MW at Bhandardara at Upper Pravara River Basin ( a tributary of river Godavari) in the state of Maharashtra. It may be noted, Bhandardara dams is one of the oldest gravity dam which needs modernization. However, due to shortage of funds, state government decided to privatize and awarded the contract to Dodson-Lindbolm Hydro Power on a lease, own, operate and transfer basis. Now, DLHPPL will overhaul and modernize the plant and provide a water management system with an investment of Rs. 784 million.
