IL & FS Renewable Energy Ltd is planning to set up the 45 MW Tipang hydro electric project in village Manmao in Chamlang district of Arunachal Pradesh. The project involves construction of 65 meter high composite dam across river Tirap, a surface power house (2x22.5 MW) at dam toe on the right bank of the river. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 2761 million. Land required for the project is around 450 ha. The project is likely to be completed in 4 years time.

L&T Power Development Ltd is planning to set up the 60 MW (2 x30 MW) Tagurshit hydro electric project in Tado Gitu Village in West Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh. The project construction of a 22 meter high barrage across river Tagurshit(a tributary of river Siyom) and a surface power house in left bank. Land required for the project is around 41.7ha. The project has received statutory clearances.

Amulin Hydro Power plans 420 MW hydro electric project in Dibang Valley

Amulin Hydro Power Ltd is planning to set up a 420 MW ( 3 x 140 MW) hydro electric project in village Midipon in Dibang Valley district of Arunachal Pradesh. The project involves construction of 75 meter high concrete dam on river Mathun located 2.5 kms downstream of the confulence of river Andra and Mathun , and a head race tunnel for 7 kms. It may be noted, earlier NHPC has mooted this project in 2003 and has done a desk study. Detailed project report and EIA are yet to be done

Velcan Energy plans 210 MW HEO hydel project in West Siang

Velcan Energy plans a 210 MW hydel project in Purying village in West Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh. The project involves construction of 23.4 high dam across Yarjep river and about 3.7 kms long head race tunnel and a surface power house (210 MW). The total land requirement for the project is 100 ha, while the total submergence area is 7 ha and catchment area of 1065 sq.kms. The project lies downstream of Pauk HEP and upstream of Tato-I HEP.
