Sardar Power Ltd is setting up a 1.725 MW mini hydel project across river Nagavalli at the downstream of Thottapalli reservoir in Garugubilli mandal of Vizianagarm district (around 70 kms away from Srikakulam road) of Andhra Pradesh. This hydel project will generate around 6.57 GWh of power in a year while operating under 5.4 m net head with vertical full Kaplan turbine. The evacuation of power will be with APTRANSCO 33kv transmission line at Nagaru village
