Sai Engineering Foundation to set up 5 MW Toss hydro electric project in Toss village in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. The project involves setting up of run-of-the river scheme and involves construction of a trench type diversion weir, intake chamber, desilting chamber, power channel in the form of an underground free-flow un-pressurized tunnel, fore bay, penstocks with saddles, anchor blocks and the power station with the tailrace for discharging the water back into the river. The project comprises two identical power-generating units of capacity 2500 kW each (Pelton turbine ).
